Our story
Rotaract Club Brescia Sud-Est Montichiari was founded in 1982; in 2013, after the club had nearly emptied out, Roberto Scalmana relaunched it together with five new members: Pierluigi Amighetti, Fabio Gorini, Roberto Furfaro, Renata Dainesi and Michele Bonetti. Among the club's projects: ‘Pane Quotidiano’, run with the sponsoring Rotary club to prepare and serve a hot meal to people in need at the Mensa dei Poveri of the Istituto Artigianelli in Brescia; a €500 donation to the ‘Tampone x tutti’ project, funding equipment for reading nasopharyngeal swabs later donated to the Istituto Zooprofilattico di Brescia; and ‘Magic Smile’, funding two pieces of equipment for the dental clinic at Montichiari Hospital, of particular benefit to patients with disabilities.
