Rotaract Club Pavia

Our story

Through funds raised by selling homemade jam, the club bought a tablet donated to a local nursing home (RSA F. Pertusati), also used by members to keep in weekly contact with residents. During the first wave of the pandemic it donated 1,600 surgical masks, half to the Red Cross and half to the local health authority (ATS) for distribution to nursing homes. For several years it has run a project at the Mensa del Fratello, a charity canteen offering free meals to people in need, helping with dining-room service. During the second wave, proceeds from a golf tournament organised with one of its sponsoring Rotary clubs funded further support initiatives.
